Learn how to create termination types and reasons

Updated over a week ago

Since the termination of employees is an irreversible process in any company, we need to add to the system the types and most common reasons for termination. This will allow us to select the previously added types and reasons when processing the termination of employment and further correctly store data on each terminated employee.

Adding termination type

To add a termination type, go to Settings > Termination types. In the upper right corner, click on the "Add" button.

Reasons for termination

There can be many reasons for the termination. Here are some examples which you can add to your system:

  • conflict within the team

  • difficulty commuting to work

  • employee expectations were not met

  • insufficient compensation

  • lack of communication

  • lack of career growth prospects

  • choosing another company

  • lack of feeling rewarded

  • adding a reason

  • moving to another country

Adding the termination reason

You can add a reason for termination via ''Settings > Termination reasons.'' In the upper right corner, click the "Add" button and write the reason for termination.

After you've added the types and reasons for termination to the system, you can choose one from the drop-down list when you terminate the employee. You can read more information about the termination process at the following link.
