Balance rounding methods
Updated over a week ago

In the most recent update, a new feature has been introduced to policy settings, allowing you to customize the rounding method for displaying balances. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Leave Policies: Choose the leave type and policy you wish to adjust.

  2. Rounding method: In the Rounding Method dropdown, specify how the balance should be rounded for employee presentation:

    • To the Nearest: Round up if the number is above .5 or .X5; round down if below .5 or .X5.

    • Round up: Always round the number up.

    • Round down: Always round the number down.

  3. Rounding precision: In the Rounding Precision dropdown, select how many decimal places should be displayed:

    • Select One: Display one decimal place.

    • Select Two: Display two decimal places.

    • Select Whole Number: Display the whole number.

Note: Rounding is used for display purposes only and will not change the actual calculated balance. By default, the Rounding method is set as To the nearest and the Rounding precision is set as Whole number.
