The Announcements and Polls in PeopleForce serves as a powerful tool for effective communication, engagement, and collaboration within your organization. They are conveniently located at the center of the Home Page.

Creating announcements

From the Home page administrators or employees with specific permissions can craft personalized news feeds, ensuring that the right audience receives the right information.

Utilizing various filters, you can control who can view the announcements, maintaining confidentiality or targeting specific departments or teams.

You can enrich your announcements by attaching multimedia files such as videos, documents, presentations, and images. Plus, you have the flexibility to create tables for organized data presentation.

Schedule your announcements to be published at any time in the future by utilizing the "Scheduled" option. This feature allows you to plan and set the exact date and time for your announcement to go live, ensuring timely and efficient communication with your team.

Employees can leave reactions or comments, fostering a collaborative environment where feedback and ideas can be shared.

Scheduled announcements can be edited by either the admin or an employee with the appropriate rights to manage announcements as defined in the Roles and Permissions settings.

It is also possible to notify your employees by email and Slack (if they have Slack Bot enabled).

Creating polls

Polls offer a quick and easy way to gather feedback on various topics, products, or services. Administrators and users with appropriate access can create and publish polls from the Home page. Utilizing various filters, you can control who can view the polls, maintaining confidentiality or targeting specific departments or teams.

Employees can leave reactions, fostering a collaborative environment where feedback and ideas can be shared.

Configuring access rights

To configure access rights for managing announcements and polls in PeopleForce, follow these straightforward steps:

1. Navigate to the "Roles and permissions" section in the settings.

2. Select the specific role you wish to configure and click on "Edit."

3. Scroll down to the "General" section within the role editing window.

4. Check the boxes next to ''Publish announcements and polls'' and ''Manage announcements and polls.''

5. Save the changes.

With these settings saved, users assigned to the chosen role will now have the ability to publish and manage both announcements and polls within PeopleForce.
