Learn how to schedule and post announcement

Announcements are a great way to communicate upcoming team-building activities and new policy updates, celebrate work anniversaries, share project milestones, remind you about upcoming deadlines, and recognize outstanding achievements within your team.

Your announcements can include images, videos, documents like training materials, or resources such as guides for new software tools.

These announcements will be displayed on the employees' Home page, where they can engage by adding their reactions.

Post an announcement

  1. From the left menu, select Home.

  2. Click Create an announcement.

  3. Enter your title.

Tip: Mention someone using an @ tag, click the style icons below the text box to format your shoutout, hyperlink text, and add emojis.

4. You can enrich your announcements by attaching multimedia files such as videos, documents, presentations, and images.

5. Utilize various filters to control who can view the announcements, maintaining confidentiality or targeting specific departments or teams (e.g., Product department).

6. Schedule your announcements to be published at any time in the future using the Schedule option. This feature allows you to plan and set the exact date and time for your announcement to go live, ensuring timely and efficient communication with your team.

7. Enable comments.

8. Choose the notification channel: email or in the system notifications.

9. When you're ready to share your announcement, click Save. It will appear on the Home page and be visible to the selected audience.

Set permissions for creating announcements

To configure access rights for managing announcements and polls in PeopleForce, follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Navigate to the Roles and permissions section in the settings.

  2. Select the specific role you wish to configure and click it.

  3. Scroll down to the General section within the role editing window.

  4. Check the boxes next to Publish announcements and polls or Manage announcements and polls.

  5. Save the changes. With these settings saved, users assigned to the chosen role will now have the ability to publish or manage both announcements and polls within PeopleForce.
