Similar to how employee custom fields work, users now have the ability to create different types of fields to keep track of relevant data for assets. With the addition of custom asset fields, companies can now monitor extra details, like the asset's condition (New, used, needs repair), year of manufacture, photos, cost, and more, beyond the limited default fields. This enhancement in tracking capabilities allows users to efficiently capture and handle diverse information, enhancing overall asset management.
