Track your working time in the PeopleForce mobile app

⏱️ Track your working time from anywhere - the PeopleForce mobile app lets you manage your workday directly from your phone. Clock in and out, manage breaks, track time against projects, and review your worked hours.

Time tracking features are available if your company uses the Time module and attendance tracking is enabled for you.

✅ What you can do

In the PeopleForce mobile app, you can:

  • clock in and out directly from your phone;

  • track time against specific projects;

  • add comments to time entries;

  • start and finish breaks;

  • review your worked hours for individual days and the whole month;

  • view the details of individual time entries;

  • submit your monthly timesheet.

All data is synchronized with the PeopleForce web app.

🔘 Start your workday

To start tracking your working time:

  1. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Select Clock in.

  3. Select a Project if you need to track time against a specific project.

  4. Add a comment to the time entry if needed. If a field is marked as required, you must complete it before starting the timer.

  5. Tap Clock in.

The timer starts and displays the duration of your current work entry.

📌 The timer continues running even if you close the PeopleForce mobile app.

⏸ Manage your current work entry

While the timer is running, open it to review your current entry.

The screen displays:

  • project;

  • comment;

  • start date;

  • start time;

  • current duration.

You can update the project or comment while the timer is running.

☕ Start and finish a break

If breaks are available under your attendance policy, you can start a break while the work timer is running.

Break time is tracked separately and is excluded from your worked hours.

When a break is recorded, its details include:

  • start time;

  • end time;

  • duration.

When you finish the break, the same work entry resumes.

⏹ Finish your workday

At the end of your workday, stop the active timer. Before stopping it, check the project and comment if you use them for your time entry.

After you stop the timer, the completed entry is saved to Attendance, and your total worked hours for the day are updated. If you forget to stop the timer, the entry remains open. You can review it later in Attendance.

📅 Review your attendance and worked hours

To review your time records, go to More → Attendance. The page displays a calendar for the selected month. For each day with tracked time, you can see the total number of recorded hours.

Use the month selector at the top of the page to move between months.

Tap a day in the calendar to review its details.

For the selected day, you can see:

  • total worked hours;

  • clock-in time;

  • clock-out time;

  • individual work entries and breaks, if available.

If no time was tracked for the selected day, the app shows that no time was recorded.

Your expected working hours are determined by your assigned work schedule, so they may differ between employees.

📤 Submit your monthly timesheet

If your company requires timesheet submission, you can submit your completed month directly from the mobile app.

Before submitting:

  1. Go to More → Attendance.

  2. Review your records for the month and make sure the tracked time is correct.

  3. Correct existing entries if needed and if editing is available to you.

  4. When the month is ready for submission, tap Submit above the calendar.

After submission, the timesheet is sent for approval according to your company's attendance settings.

🔄 Stay synchronized with the web app

You can track your time in either the mobile app or the PeopleForce web app - the data stays synchronized between them.

Changes made in the web app appear in the mobile app, while entries created from your phone are also available in the web version of PeopleForce.
