A new unified integration for Slack is now available under a feature flag. It combines previous Slack tools into a single bot and allows companies to create custom notifications for specific channels, teams, or departments, helping reduce unnecessary notifications for employees.
Activate the Slack integration
To activate the integration for Slack and receive notifications about employees, follow these steps:
Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack.
Click Slack.
On the integration page, click Install.
Select your Slack workspace.
Click Allow to authorize the integration.
Once the integration is connected, you can configure Slack notifications for out-of-office updates.
Note: Once enabled here, employees who want to use the PeopleForce bot will need to install it individually from their Account settings page, accessible via the menu in the top-right corner of the screen.

Choose one or more Slack channels where the notification should be posted. Notifications will automatically appear in the selected channels.

7. Choose the exact time when the notification should be posted to Slack.
8. Choose the time zone used for sending notifications. Example: (GMT+00:00) UTC
