Compensation history is report that provides a comprehensive view of all the salary and additional compensation changes that have occurred for all employees of a company.
Getting started with filters
The compensation history report includes filters by date range, employees, job level, positions, departments, divisions, locations and employment types. By using these filters, you can customize your search and obtain specific information that interests you.
For instance, selecting a specific period, such as the last year, and a particular employee will generate a report that displays all the salary changes that occurred for that employee during the chosen date range.
Salary tab
The Compensation history report includes details on salary history in a dedicated tab.
Employees' details are presented within the list that contains such information as employee full name, hiring date, job level, effective date, position, department, division, location and salary rate itself.
Additional compensation tab
The ''Compensation history'' report includes details on additional compensation history in a dedicated tab. Employees' details are presented within the list that contains such information as employee full name, start date, end date, amount, type, frequency and description.
Data export
The report can be exported in XLSX or CSV format by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner.
Setting up access rights to the "Compensation history" report
In PeopleForce, you can customize access rights to the ''Compensation history'' report. Follow these simple steps:
Go to the ''Roles and permissions'' section in the settings.
Select the role you want to customize and click ''Edit.''
In the role editing window, scroll down to the Reports section.
Select "Compensation history" in the "Reports" field.
Save the settings.
After saving the settings, users with the corresponding role will have access to the "Compensation history" report.
