Learn how to configure access reports and settings when configuring the role permissions

For employees to effectively perform their job responsibilities, it is essential to grant them appropriate access to the features and menus of the system. To enable specific actions for this role within your company, you can configure their permissions for working with reports and access to settings,

Access to Roles and permissions configuration

In the Settings > Security > Roles & permissions section, you can edit the permissions for default roles or create custom roles for different purposes.

Setting up Report permissions

For All employees, Managers, Team leads, and your custom roles, you can select which reports they can access. To do this, you must go to the Company > Report section while editing or creating a role and select the options you wish to be available for that role. By selecting reports, you provide users access to the Reports tab and export the generated data.

Here is the list of all reports that can be available for the user in the Reports tab:

  • General: Tasks, Security audit, Audit trail;

  • CoreHR: Age profile, Gender profile, Headcount, Termination breakdown, Years of service, Children, Emergency contacts, Custom fields, Employment status history, Job history, Monthly payroll, Compensation history, Working hours, Leave used, Leave requests, Leave balance, Leave policy, Assets register, Mood, Celebrations;

  • Performance: 1:1s, Objective ownership, Company KPIs, Development plans;

  • Recruitment: Pipeline funnel, Pipeline statistics, Candidate sources, Vacancy funnel, Time to hire, Time to fill, Time to disqualify, Recruiter activities.

With the Create custom reports permission, you allow users to generate their reports. You can find additional details on report creation in the article.

Setting up access to Settings

For All employees, Managers, Team leads, and your custom roles, you can provide access to all or specific sections in the platform Settings. To do this, you must go to the Company > Settings section while editing or creating a role and select the options you wish to be available for that role.

Access can be granted to all or specific settings sections from the following:

  • General: General, Billing, Alerts, Import, Exports, Integrations, Webhooks;

  • Core: Home, Calendars, Positions, Job levels, Departments, Divisions, Locations, Holiday policies, Employment types, Genders, Skills, Forms;

  • HR: Leave policies, Work patterns, Compensations, Probation policies, Termination reasons, Termination types, Documents, People data, Asset fields, and Asset categories;

  • Recruit: Career site, GDPR, Vacancy fields, Candidate fields, Pipelines, Disqualify reasons, Sources, Scorecards, Offer templates, Email templates, Interview templates, Resume templates, Vacancy tags, Candidate tags, Contracts;

  • Perform: 1:1 types, 1:1 templates, Competencies, Development plans

    Objective tags;

  • Time: Attendance policies;

  • Pulse: Segments, Scales;

  • Desk: the Safe Speak, Case categories;

  • Security: Roles & permissions, Authentications, API keys.
