Learn how to set up your PeopleForce Perform module

Welcome to the guide for setting up your PeopleForce Perform module. Completing this setup will help you and your team streamline platform usage and maximize the value of PeopleForce Perform.

🪄 To get started, use the Implementation Plan created by the Customer Success team to ensure every step is completed successfully. Download the Implementation Plan at the bottom of this article.

Step 1: Initial setup

Once you log into PeopleForce, follow these steps chronologically to personalize the Perform module for your organization:

  • Set up 1:1 meeting types: Prepare types to categorize different types of appointments or meetings within the system and use them when setting a new meeting.

  • Prepare 1:1 templates: Create templates with provided structure and guided discussions on topics like career goals, performance reviews, and feedback. They can be added to meetings and help participants to discuss everything they need.

  • Add competencies: Add evaluation criteria, or ‘markers,’ important for your company to help assess an employee's performance and assign actual points during the performance review.

  • Create question templates: Before conducting a review cycle, prepare templates for various cases.

  • Extend the list of development plan types: If required, add types that serve as folders for organizing your templates effectively.

Step 2: Permissions and roles

By following these steps, you’ll ensure your PeopleForce Perform module is set up effectively, enabling your team to maximize performance management efficiency and drive employee development.
