If some managers take part in hiring, give them limited access to Recruit. They’ll see only the vacancies they’re involved in, not every vacancy in the company.
1️⃣ Create a custom role
Go to Settings → Roles & permissions and create a new role, for example Manager – Recruitment access.
In the role settings:
In Who is assigned this role?, choose the managers who take part in hiring.
On the Recruit tab, turn on Access to recruitment module. Managers can now open Recruit and see the vacancies they’re added to, along with the candidates on those vacancies.
Turn on any extra permissions they need:
Manage candidates, to move candidates between stages and disqualify them
Access candidate mailbox, to email candidates
Manage offers, to create and send offers
Save the role.
⚠️ Leave Show all vacancies and Show all candidates off. If you turn them on, managers will see every vacancy or candidate in the company, not just their own.
Managers keep their standard Manager role. This role only adds access to Recruit.
2️⃣ Add managers to vacancies
When you create or edit a vacancy, go to the Collaborators step and add the manager under Team members.
These managers will:
see only the vacancies where they’re a Team member or the Hiring lead
review the candidates on those vacancies
take part in hiring decisions, depending on the permissions you gave them
They won’t see any other vacancies in the system.
