A report that provides information on employee turnover in your company

A ''Termination breakdown'' report is a report that contains information about how many employees left the company during a certain period of time.


Getting started with filters

The ''Termination breakdown'' report contains filters by time Period, Type and Reason of termination, Position, Department, Division, Location, and Type of employment. Using these filters, you can fine-tune your search and get the specific information you are interested in.

You can choose a specific period, such as the last year, and track employee turnover during that period for a department, such as marketing. This allows you to understand how employee turnover in the department changed during this period and draw appropriate conclusions about the company's development.

Analyzing the report results

Information about employee turnover on this page is presented in the form of a combined chart, where you can track the overlap of such metrics as turnover and headcount.

To the right of the graph, you can find information on total employee turnover and average employee turnover per month, displayed as a percentage, as well as the average tenure in your company.

The total turnover rate is calculated as follows:

Total number of employees who left the company / number of employees for the selected period * 100%

Next, we have access to two pie charts with the percentage of information categorized by reasons and types of termination.

This page displays the default list of employees, where each record contains information about the date of hire, tenure, the reason and type of termination of the employee, information on whether the employee is available for hire, and a comment.

Sorting options in the report

In the "Termination breakdown" report, you can sort the data to see, for example, employees by the lowest or highest years of service. Here's how to do it:

Export of the reports

You can export the report in XLSX or CSV format by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner.

Configuring access rights to "Termination breakdown" report

In PeopleForce, you have the ability to configure access rights to the "Termination breakdown" report. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to "Roles and permissions" in the settings.

  2. Select the role you want to configure and click "Edit."

  3. Scroll down to the "Reports" section in the role editing window.

  4. Select "Termination breakdown" in the "Company reports" field.

  5. Save the settings.

Once you have saved the settings, users with the corresponding role will have access to the "Termination breakdown" report.

Please note that you must have the appropriate administrator rights to be able to configure access rights.
