Work with Inbox items and view information in the mobile app

Learn how to work with Inbox actions and notifications, find colleagues, and view available work-related information directly in the mobile app

The mobile app lets you receive notifications about tasks and requests that require your attention, quickly find employee information, and view objectives, KPIs, documents, and Knowledge base materials.

The sections and information available to you depend on the modules your company uses and your access permissions.

Work with Inbox items

The Inbox tab brings together actions and notifications that require your attention.

Use the categories at the top of the page to focus on a particular type of item. Depending on the functionality available to you, these may include:

  • All: all Inbox actions and notifications;

  • Approvals: requests where you are assigned as an approver;

  • Tasks: tasks assigned to you;

  • Surveys: surveys waiting for you to complete;

  • other available types of Inbox items.

The number next to each category shows how many items require your attention.

Tap an item in the list to open it and view its details.

View and complete tasks

Go to Inbox → Tasks to view tasks assigned to you.

The list displays key information about each task, including its name and due date, if one is set.

Tap a task to view its details and complete the available action.

For example, if you are assigned a task to complete a form, open the task, review its details, and tap Submit form to proceed with the form.

Approve requests

If you are assigned as an approver for a request, it appears under Inbox → Approvals.

Requests waiting for your action may also appear on Home in the To approve section.

To process a request:

  1. Select the request you want to review.

  2. Review its details.

  3. Tap the appropriate button to Approve or Reject the request.

Different types of requests may appear in the Inbox depending on the processes configured in your company. For example, you may receive a leave request or an employee data change request.

📌 If push notifications for PeopleForce are enabled on your device, you may receive notifications about new Inbox items that require your attention.
