We are excited to announce the release of our new Custom reviewers feature! This enhancement allows you to add more types of reviewers to your review cycles beyond the default options of manager, upwards, peers, and self-review. You can now include team leads or any custom reviewers based on employee reference fields.
The Custom Reviewers feature lets you add additional reviewer types, such as team leads or other custom roles, to your review cycles. For instance, if you have a custom role like "Regional Accountant" for a specific department, selecting this role while creating a review will include that employee as a reviewer.

Adding Team leads as reviewers
Navigate to the Review cycles section and click on Create new review cycle.
In the Add reviewers step, click the Add reviewer button.
Select Team lead from the list of reviewer types.
All team leads associated with an employee will automatically be included as reviewers.
Adding custom reviewers
Start by creating a new review cycle as described above.
Click on the 'Add reviewer' button and select the desired custom reviewer type from the list.
Choose an employee reference field based on which system will assign reviewers.
You can add up to six different types of reviewers. If six reviewer types are already added, the Add reviewer button will be disabled.
Managing notifications for reviewers
Reviewers, including team leads and custom reviewers, will receive email notifications for review requests.
Review requests will be displayed in the My reviews section under Review cycle To-Dos.
To-do items will be added to reviewers' to-do widget on a main page.
Display of reviewers in review cycles
Team leads and custom reviewers will be displayed in the same order they were assigned across the review start widget, review table header, and competencies section.
Reporting
Team leads and custom reviewers are now included in all relevant exports for the Review Cycles, Competencies, and Insights sections.
