2.21 Release Overview
2.21 Release Overview

Summary of all features and improvements we're announcing in this release

Updated over a month ago

We’re excited to introduce new features that will significantly improve your HR processes and ease interaction with the platform! You can now request e-signatures for autogenerated documents, manage Safe Speak categories and complaints in a new dedicated page, leave comments on time entries for clearer tracking, and enjoy enhanced custom reports. These updates are aimed at making your workflow more efficient and organized.

Request e-signature for autogenerated docs

Documents generated from templates can now be automatically routed for eSignature using the new "Request eSignature" option, available in both document generation and workflow actions. When generating a document from a template and assigning it to the employee, you can request a signature and add optional additional signers using a simple checkbox interface. This feature works identically whether triggered from standalone document generation or within onboarding workflows.

Manage Safe Speak categories and all complaints in a new dedicated page

We’re happy to introduce key updates to Safe Speak, designed to make complaint management more organised and user-friendly.

With this release, you can now create and manage custom categories specifically for Safe Speak in the Safe Speak features page under settings. This allows Safe Speak cases to be organised separately from Desk, reducing category clutter and making it easier to find what you need. Multiple categories can be created and deleted as needed.

Additionally, Safe Speak complaints now have their own dedicated view, separate from Desk cases. Accessible only to users with permission in Safe Speak settings, this new sidebar page displays anonymous complaints with unique complaint numbers. These complaints are now removed from the general cases screen, providing a cleaner, more focused workspace. See more here.

Leave comments on time entries for clearer tracking

We’ve introduced the ability to add optional comments to time entries, enhancing your tracking experience. Now, when selecting a date in the Clock in section, you can easily add and save comments directly from the site drawer. Employees can add clear explanations for overtime, document specific development activities, and support time tracking for both regular and unplanned work.

Сreate your сustom report

Previously, this report allowed you to create a report using employee fields. Now, with the redesigned report builder, you have more flexibility to choose between reports based on employee fields or employee tables, or even combine both. This update lets you create fully customized reports using data from either employee fields or custom table fields, giving you greater control over your reporting needs. Read here.
