Peopleforce is an HRM system for your business with highly developed features and tools. In this article, we'll tell you how to properly prepare and configure the system for use according to your company's requirements.

After general and core settings, we recommend moving on to the PeopleHR module settings. To do this, go to Settings > PeopleHR. This section includes settings for leave policy, work patterns, compensation, onboarding, offboarding, probation policies, termination reasons and types, employee fields, asset categories and documents.

Leave policies

In the Leave policies tab, you will be able to create all the leave types that exist in your company. To create a policy, click the Add Leave Type button. Fill in the Name field and specify the Tracking time in days or hours. Save the data you filled in.

Important: The system counts leave types in one of the formats - in hours or in days. This setting can only be specified when creating a new type.

Work patterns

If you go to the Work pattern tab, you will see the standard schedule already created, which is set by default - 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day on weekdays. You can create a new work schedule by clicking the "Add" button or edit an existing one.

In the Compensation Types tab you will be able to add all types of compensation that are paid to employees of your company. To do this, click on the "Add" button in the upper right corner. In the opened window, fill in the Name field and save the new type of compensation.

In the Payment Schedules tab, you can add the type of payment according to your company policy.

Onboarding and Offboarding

Thanks to the Onboarding process in our system, you can automate much of the work when hiring an employee for your company. By building a chain of tasks and distributing them among your colleagues, the process of adapting a hired employee will become much more effective. The same is with Offboarding, when an employee is fired from the company, if the offboarding is properly set up, the person will have only positive emotions from working with your company. More information about how to set up the process of automation of offboarding you can read at this link.

Probation policy

A probation period is a period of time during which an employer tests a company employee to see if he or she is a good fit for the job.

In the PeopleForce system, you can create several policies, depending on the company rules, edit and delete them as needed.

To create a new policy, go to " Settings > PeopleHR Probation Policies > Add button." Fill in the Name field and specify the length of the term. Save the completed information.

In the employee card, go to the Job tab > Employment section, add the employment status. In the opened window, fill in the required information and save it.

Termination reasons and types

To add termination reasons, we need to go to "Settings > Reasons for dismissal > Add button" . In the window that opens, fill in the Name field and save it. Now when you terminate an employee, you will be able to specify the reason for termination by selecting it from the drop-down list.

To add Termination types go to the "Settings tab > section People HR > Termination Types > Add button."

Employee fields

Employee fields is the information that will be specified on each employee's page. You can edit or disable already created fields, add your own custom fields and change their order. Fields can be of different types, depending on what information you want to enter. (Personal, contacts, social networks, education, etc.)

Asset categories

Assets categories are groups of assets that have similar characteristics. They can be

laptops, phones, tablets, headsets, monitors, etc.

You can fill in the categories by going to "Settings > Property Categories". In the right upper corner click on the "Add" button.
