Learn how to convert the approved request to an active vacancy

Updated over a week ago

Once the vacancy request has been approved, administrators and employees with access to the Hiring Plan can seamlessly convert it into an active vacancy. Follow the steps below to transform an approved request into a vacancy.

Step 1: Convert the Vacancy request

  1. Access the Hiring plan.

  2. Locate and open the approved vacancy request.

  3. Click on the Create vacancy button.

  4. All the data entered during the request phase will automatically populate the relevant fields in the vacancy form.

Step 2: Fill in the Vacancy details

1. Fill in details:

  • Set status: Define the current status of the vacancy.

  • Set priority: Determine the urgency and importance of the role.

  • Set criteria: Outline the key requirements and qualifications.

  • Set salary range: Specify the compensation range for the position.

  • Tags & skills: Add relevant tags and required skills for easy categorization and filtering.

  • Custom fields: Include any additional information unique to the position.

2. Vacancy description: Provide a comprehensive overview of the vacancy, including job responsibilities, expectations, and company culture.

3. Pipeline: Select the previously created recruitment funnel that aligns with the vacancy's hiring process.

4. Application: Choose the fields candidates must fill out when applying through the career site. Ensure these fields collect all necessary information for initial screening.

5. Collaborators: Designate individuals who will be involved in the hiring process.

  • Hiring lead: Identify the recruiter responsible for managing the vacancy.

  • Team members: Add additional recruiters and managers who may be involved in the hiring process or decision-making.

  • Default interviewers: Specify users who will automatically be included in interviews. These interviewers will only have access to the candidate's full name, photo, and resume, not the full vacancy details.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage the transition from a vacancy request to an active, well-documented vacancy, ensuring a streamlined and organized hiring process.
