2.29 Release overview

Summary of all features and improvements we're announcing in this release

Updated this week

Hey there! 👋 Our latest release is here to supercharge your HR and recruitment workflows—starting with a new Greenhouse integration 🌱 that automatically brings hired candidates straight into PeopleForce.

And that’s just the beginning:

🔕 Customize your Recruit notifications to cut through the noise and stay focused.
✨ Quickly see who’s signed what with the new document signers pop-up.

Let’s dive into the details!

Using Greenhouse for recruitment? You can now transfer newly hired candidates into PeopleForce automatically - no data loss, no retyping.

Just set up a webhook connection (ask your PeopleForce admin for credentials), map data fields, and your hires will appear directly in the new ATS inbox in People tab, ready for onboarding. Read more here.

Note: We're rolling out this feature gradually. If you’d like to try this feature, please contact us at csteam@peopleforce.io.

Tired of guessing who’s signed what? Now, when viewing Documents section in PeopleForce, just click on the avatar icons to see a detailed pop-up of all signers and their statuses - no more jumping through tabs or emails. More here.

Stop the noise - сustomize Recruit notifications your way! You now have full control over which Recruit notifications (emails, in-app, and Slack alerts) you receive.

Head to your Account settings to fine-tune what matters most - no more irrelevant updates, just the alerts you actually want. Read more here.

Other updates

That’s not all - we’ve packed in a few more updates worth exploring.

Core HR

  • We’ve streamlined the document distribution process by adding the ability to select the signature type and eSignature provider right when uploading or splitting files.

  • We’ve made an important update to improve the security of your API tokens. From now on, each token will be shown only once, right after it's created. Be sure to copy and store it securely at that moment.

  • We’re updating phrasing to use more neutral terms: “employee(s)” becomes “person/people” and “hired on” changes to “started on.”

  • HR managers can now include the "Experience before hire" field in the preboarding form, enabling new employees to enter the years and months of prior experience they have had before joining the company.

  • We’ve improved the filtering experience on the Requests page by allowing you to select multiple request types and names at the same time.

  • We’ve added new variables to make your workflows even smarter. Now, when creating a task or email within a workflow, you can dynamically show previous, current, and upcoming values for job level, position, department, division, location, salary, and currency code.

  • To enhance data privacy, we’ve updated how employee fields appear in the advanced search on the People page and Directory. If you grant a user the Allow advanced search across your directory permission, this user will see filters only for fields where they have View or Edit permission for all employees in the system.

  • You can now filter documents by Expired eSignature status on the Documents page - making it easier to track what needs follow-up.

Time

  • The new early timesheet submission option lets employees autofill hours for upcoming days and submit timesheets before the month ends, making payroll processing faster and more efficient.
