🚀 Release 2.44 introduces easier document navigation, better visibility into team availability, and more precise employee targeting with groups. Companies can also manage more compensation scenarios, classify overtime by type, and connect approved overtime and special hours with the relevant compensation components.
Recruit teams gain the new Time in Stage report and scheduled candidate emails.
The release also introduces refreshed pages across Core HR, Recruit, Pulse, Desk, and Mobile, together with improvements to reporting, integrations, security, access control, and anonymous case management.
📊 Identify hiring bottlenecks with the new Time in Stage report
The new Time in Stage report gives recruiting teams visibility into how long candidates spend at each stage of the hiring pipeline. By reviewing stage-duration data, teams can identify where candidates are moving smoothly and where delays may be slowing down the recruitment process. The report helps turn pipeline-speed data into practical decisions.
Report data can also be downloaded in a spreadsheet format, making it easier to build hiring performance presentations, perform additional analysis, or share stage-duration data with stakeholders outside PeopleForce. More details here.
💰 Manage more compensation scenarios
We’ve expanded compensation management to provide a clearer structure for different types of employee payments.
Compensation Components let companies create reusable types for Base compensation, Additional compensation, Adjustment – Addition, and Adjustment – Deduction, keeping compensation records consistent across employee profiles.
Adjustments are used to record compensation corrections, such as an additional payment or deduction. They can be added as once-off or recurring entries and remain separate from regular compensation.
Recurring Variable compensation supports payments such as bonuses or commissions, where an employee is eligible to receive compensation regularly but the amount can differ for each period.
More compensation management details here.
If you would like to switch to the new structure, you can request a free migration anytime - just contact the customer support team via chat or email: support@peopleforce.io.
⏱️ Configure multiple overtime types
Organizations can now create multiple overtime types in addition to the default type, making it possible to categorize and compensate different kinds of overtime separately.
Each overtime type can have its own compensation rate and compensation method, such as payment through a payslip or time off. Administrators can also configure conditions for automatically categorizing overtime based on when it was recorded. The system pre-categorizes matching entries, while managers can review the assigned type before approving the overtime. Once approved, categorized overtime entries and their additional details become available for payroll processing and attendance exports. More details here.
Companies using both the Time and Payroll modules can connect overtime and special-hours types with compensation components configured in Payroll.
When Payslip is selected as the compensation method, administrators can select the payroll component associated with the overtime or special-hours type. One compensation component can be linked to each type, helping ensure that approved time entries are processed using the correct payroll configuration.
👥 Create precise employee groups
Groups let companies create narrowly targeted employee groups based on configured rules, such as department, location, position, or other employee data. For example, you can create a group like “All employees in Engineering on probation” and use it to trigger onboarding automations, assign training programs, or target engagement surveys without manual updates. The group updates automatically as employee information changes and can be reused across PeopleForce wherever rule-based employee selection is supported.
Your existing Pulse Segments are migrated into groups to ensure continuity while unlocking broader reuse and consistency across the platform. More details here.
🛠️ Other updates
In addition to the major enhancements, we’ve rolled out several other updates to improve your overall experience with PeopleForce. Here’s a quick overview:
Core HR
Core HR
People, Candidate, and Vacancy results in the global search palette (⌘/Ctrl + K) can now be opened in a new browser tab using middle-click or standard keyboard shortcuts.
The task details page now uses the same updated layout as leave requests. Task information and activity are divided between Overview and Comments tabs, and new comments appear without reloading the page.
The Status filter is now permanently displayed above the People Directory and defaults to Employed. It cannot be removed and remains active when other filters are reset.
The Org Chart now supports starting and exporting a chart from a selected employee. The update also introduces employee counts, a stacked view, and general navigation improvements.
The refreshed Teams page presents teams in a searchable table with team leads, members, pagination, and export options. Team details now open in a side panel, while team creation and editing use updated employee selectors.
The Positions, Divisions, and Badges settings pages have been refreshed.
In Settings > Asset fields, system and custom asset fields can now be marked as required. Required fields must be completed when an asset is created or edited on the Assets page.
The Company Assets page also includes assigned and unassigned asset filters, an updated toolbar, improved search, active filter indicators, and exports based on the filtered results.
When approving leave requests, Managers can now see any overlapping leave requests for other people in their direct reporting line to highlight any potential capacity challenges.
Leave requests now have a dedicated Print or PDF page. Users can choose whether to include details, balance information, the daily breakdown, notes, approvers, and comments before printing or saving the request as a PDF. Comments are hidden by default.
The Leave Balance report now includes a Lifecycle Status filter. Users can include employed employees, terminated employees, or both.
Custom Reports now include a Department path column showing the employee’s complete department hierarchy joined with ">". The existing Department column continues to show only the employee’s direct department.
The employee Documents page now uses one-folder-at-a-time navigation. Users can open folders, follow clickable breadcrumbs, use the browser Back button, and see the number of files and latest modification date for each folder. This makes it easier to navigate large document structures, quickly understand where they are, and find files faster without getting lost in deeply nested folders.
Account settings page has been renamed to Preferences and now includes a dedicated Security tab. Password settings, two-factor authentication, active sessions, and connected applications are available in one place. Users can also review and revoke individual sessions and connections.
Job profile import now supports the Compensation minimum, Compensation maximum, and Currency fields. Companies can bulk-import compensation ranges instead of adding this information manually to individual job profiles.
Import History visibility now depends on the user’s role. Administrators can see all imports, while other users with import permissions see only the imports they created.
Employee create and update webhooks now include an effective from date for historical custom fields. This allows connected integrations to identify when the employee’s current field value took effect. Non-historical custom fields remain unchanged.
Recruit
Recruit
The Time to Fill report now displays each vacancy’s current status when results are grouped by vacancy. Its export also includes Vacancy Status, Hiring Lead, and Legal Entity.
Vacancy requests can now be duplicated. The new request is pre-filled with information from the original request and can be edited before submission.
Before publishing a vacancy to Robota.ua, PeopleForce now checks whether the connected account has enough publications for the selected type. If none remain, publishing is blocked, and a clear explanation is displayed.
Users now receive email notifications when a job-board or campaign integration becomes unauthorized. Failed campaign publications also generate an email containing the available error details.
Candidate profiles now include a dedicated Print or PDF page. Users can select which profile sections and fields to include before printing the page or saving it as a PDF. Internal notes are hidden by default, and sensitive information follows existing access rules.
Candidate emails now support flexible delivery options, allowing messages to be sent immediately, scheduled for a specific date and time, or delayed by a defined period (hours, days, or weeks). Users can review, edit, or cancel pending scheduled emails directly from the candidate’s Emails tab, where the planned send time is clearly displayed. This scheduling capability also extends to automated email actions triggered by pipeline changes or disqualification reasons, ensuring more precise and controlled candidate communication throughout the hiring process.
Resume parsing is now more reliable, particularly for PDF files. When the primary parsing method cannot extract contact information, PeopleForce automatically retries using an alternative method. Phone-number extraction has also been improved to reduce incomplete or incorrectly formatted results.

Kudos and badges can now be deleted directly in PeopleForce. Users no longer need to contact the support team to remove recognition that was added by mistake.
Kudo recipients can now receive a personal Slack message from the company’s PeopleForce bot, in addition to the existing channel notification. The message includes the kudo and a link to view it in PeopleForce.
The review responses reporting API now supports updated on or after and updated on or before filters. Integrations can retrieve only responses changed during a selected period instead of downloading all responses each time.
Time
Time
The Attendance > Company page now includes a Manager filter. Users can filter timesheets and overtime requests to the direct reports of one or more selected managers and combine the filter with existing employee, department, and status filters.
Pulse
Pulse
Anonymous surveys now show aggregate participation statistics without exposing individual response status. Administrators can review participant totals, completed responses, response rate, surveys in progress, and surveys not started. Administrators can also use the Nudge all button to remind unfinished participants without revealing who has or has not responded.
New people can now be added to a running Company survey from the Participants tab. Added participants receive the survey and can respond without restarting or copying it. Employees who already participate are excluded from the selector.
Desk
Desk
Content submitted by anonymous Safe Speak reporters can no longer be edited by company-side users, including administrators. The original title, description, and follow-up comments remain read-only, while operational fields such as status, assignee, category, and priority can still be updated.
The Safe Speak admin area has been refreshed with a modern table, clearer status views, search, sorting, and category and priority filters. The list also displays SLA information, creation and update dates, and assignee details. Safe Speak cases now use an updated layout, with key case information and actions organized in the standard page header and details panel.
Mobile
Mobile
The fully rebuilt PeopleForce Mobile App 2.0 for iOS and Android is now being rolled out to all users. Employees can sign in using email, Google or Microsoft, or a phone number with an SMS code. From the app, they can manage leave requests, clock in and out, access the Knowledge Base and Org Chart, work with documents, follow company posts, and complete Inbox tasks. Managers can also approve leave requests directly from their phone.
