This month is all about automation – helping you cut down on manual tasks, reduce errors, and make your HR processes more efficient. From powerful custom forms in workflows and mobile time tracking, we’re bringing you and your employees smarter ways to get work done. Here’s what’s new ⬇️
🔁 Custom & self-service forms in Workflows
Workflows just got smarter. You can now automatically send custom forms and self-service requests as a dedicated action in your workflow. Even better — when creating a custom form, you can configure any workflow to launch automatically after the form is submitted or approved.
Here’s what this means:
✅ Less manual work - the system sends the right forms automatically based on your workflow setup
✅ Automated internal requests - no need to send forms manually or start the necessary workflow each time
✅ Smarter approvals and documentation handling
This update doesn’t just automate tasks — it helps you build a responsive HR system that saves time and works for you.
🏢 Department-level automation
Target automation by org chart level. Now you can assign surveys, reviews, or permissions specific department levels (unit or subunit) using the updated assignable ruleset dropdown.
✔ Apply to one or multiple department levels
✔ Automatically reach all employees within a selected level
✔ Perfect for personalized engagement and team-level processes
📞 Phone Number Validation for Candidate Duplicates
Keep your candidate database clean and consistent with enhanced duplicate detection:
✔ Phone numbers are now checked automatically when adding candidates manually,
✔ If a match is found, you'll see a warning to help avoid duplicates,
✔ The system won’t block the action — you can still save the record if needed,
✔ Helps maintain data integrity across your entire organization.
⏱️ Time Tracking from Anywhere
Take full control of your workday with the PeopleForce mobile app:
✔ Clock in and out directly from your phone,
✔ Manage breaks with a visual timer,
✔ Track time on specific projects or general tasks,
✔ Use a simple, intuitive interface — no training needed,
✔ Everything you need is just a tap away, whether starting your day, switching projects, or taking a break.

Time API
Time API
We’ve introduced a new POST API endpoint for external systems or integrations to create time tracking projects directly in PeopleForce.
A new POST API endpoint is now available to assign multiple employees to a time tracking project in one request, making team onboarding faster and minimizing the number of manual operations.
The existing List timesheet entries endpoint now supports a status query parameter, allowing you to filter timesheet entries by approval state for more precise exports, reporting, and automation.
The List all timesheet entries endpoint response now provides comments for each entry, giving API consumers full visibility into employee or manager notes linked to submitted time. And with the Create timesheet entry endpoint, it is possible to add comments to each timesheet entry.
