2.34 Release overview

Summary of all features and improvements we're announcing in this release

Updated this week

This release brings cool improvements to both Core HR and Perform to help you capture richer data and speed up performance workflows.

Core HR: Build richer employee profiles with custom Position & Work fields

⚡ Perform: Keep reviews moving with partial 360 review sharing and track individual progress in the brand-new People view in Objectives.

More flexibility, fewer bottlenecks — your HR processes just got a serious upgrade. Check all the improvements!

Custom Columns for Position and Work status tables

We’ve added the ability to create custom columns in the Position and Work Status tables within the Job tab, giving you full control over how job-related data is structured and displayed.

Custom fields support multiple formats, including date picker, single select, number, and text, so you can capture information in the way that fits best. Once created, these fields are instantly visible in employee profiles alongside standard job data, ensuring everything is stored in one consistent place.

Sharing partially submitted reviews

Not everyone has completed their part of the 360 review, and now you have to share manually what’s left? The improved “Share all” function lets you share reviews in bulk even if they’re only partially completed — for example, once a manager’s input is in.

Set your own sharing criteria and keep the review process moving faster without chasing every last response.

People view in Objectives

We’ve introduced People view in Objectives - a smarter way to track goals across the company. 🎉
Instantly see all objectives tied to an employee, including their latest check-in and progress, without digging through profiles in the Company tab.
Managers gain full visibility into their report’s goals in the Team tab, while employees can stay on top of their own progress in the My tab - making performance tracking clearer, faster, and more effective for everyone.

Other updates

In addition to the major enhancements introduced in version 2.34, we've also rolled out several other updates designed to improve your overall experience with PeopleForce. Here's a quick overview of these:

Core HR

  • We’ve expanded personalization options in workflows by introducing variables for Task Names and Email Subjects. Previously, variables could only be used in task descriptions or email bodies. Now, when creating or editing a workflow, you can also insert variables directly into the Task Name and Email Subject fields.

  • A new Document field has been added to both people-data change request forms and self-service change forms. Employees can now upload files when requesting updates to their personal information, while managers can attach supporting documents when submitting requests on behalf of team members.

  • We’ve added a new “Own” operator in custom roles for assignable rulesets. It works with Team, Department, Division, and Location. For example, if an HR manager has a custom role with the ruleset Location – Own and the permission to edit gender, they’ll be able to edit gender only for employees in the same location as them.

  • Now, when an employee is assigned to a specific level (for example, Team), the Overview widget of their profile will display the full path in the structure: Department → Unit → Team. Instead of showing just an isolated level, the system now displays the entire path leading to the level where the employee is assigned.

Pulse

  • You can now enable reminders for recipients to complete lifecycle surveys.

  • Added the option to schedule the Send lifecycle survey action in workflows to trigger either immediately at the start or after a specified number of days.

  • A new Manager column has been added to the lifecycle survey export.

Time

  • Added the ability to define start and end times in work patterns and assign these patterns to employees.

  • A new permission has been introduced in the Time module that allows selected roles to edit timesheet data across the company or for selected people. This provides greater flexibility and control over how working hours are managed and corrected.

  • A new History log in attendance time entries shows all record changes, including the action type, user, and timestamp.

Recruit

  • Added a confirmation warning when deleting a Recruit integration account in Settings or Personal Account settings. The warning clearly informs users that deleting the integration will immediately stop vacancy synchronization and end all active campaigns.

  • Job site integrations (Work, Robora, Djinni, HeadHunter, and others) now show Disconnected status instead of Expired when the connection is lost. A helpful tooltip guides users to check their login, password, or API key to restore access.

Perform

  • We’ve updated Objectives to support progress values above 100%, based on the results of their linked Key Results.
